Operator and scope
MakBrew is operated by moonshot. This policy describes personal data processing in the mobile app and official website. Contact: moonshot5730@gmail.com.
Data and purposes
Sign-in uses a Firebase UID, provider, and the name/email supplied by the provider for authentication and account linking. Guest sign-in also creates an anonymous UID. Brewing records, notes, photos, ingredient inventory, and saved calculations are stored on your device to provide app features. Language preferences and learning content are also stored locally.
Analytics and diagnostics
The app uses Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to process usage events, screen visits, device/app information, and error diagnostics. The code also includes user identifier support. Analytics and crash collection are currently enabled at initialization. Denying iOS tracking permission does not stop all of this collection.
Providers and international processing
Authentication uses Google Firebase and Google/Apple sign-in. Firebase processes analytics and diagnostics; information may be processed abroad depending on provider infrastructure. If optional Gemini content generation is used, generation requests and inputs are sent to Google. Loading external images or web content may disclose your IP address and connection information to their providers.
Retention and deletion
Local records remain until you delete them or clear app data. OS backups and photos saved to your library may remain after uninstalling. Server account information is removed when account deletion is processed; analytics and diagnostics follow provider configuration and retention policies. Any legally required retention will be explained with its scope and duration. This website cannot remotely erase device records.
Your rights and choices
Request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or consent withdrawal by email. Only minimum account verification information will be requested. Manage camera, photos, and tracking in OS settings. Use the account deletion page for linked account deletion.
Website and changes
The website uses no separate analytics scripts or advertising cookies. Your language choice may be stored locally in your browser, and the hosting provider may process access logs. Material changes are communicated through this page and its update date.
